Terms
These terms are the contract for using DebtDetect at debtdetect.org. Contact is hello@debtdetect.org. Business and Enterprise receive a reply on business days. German law applies. The service runs in Frankfurt.
The service
DebtDetect provides engineering analysis and estimates for informational and operational use. Cost, effort, risk, and remediation figures are modeled estimates. They are not guarantees of financial loss, cash savings, or engineering outcomes.
You are responsible for repository permissions, third-party integrations, and reviewing any remediation work before merging it. A draft pull request that changes source does so only for trailing whitespace or a missing final newline. Other findings remain a written plan. You may scan only a repository you are allowed to use.
Account
Sign-up uses your GitHub account. DebtDetect does not create a password. A paid GitHub account cannot be used to create a second DebtDetect account. You must accept the current terms and privacy notice before the workspace opens.
Price and VAT
The price on the site includes 19% German VAT. Starter is €34.51 a month, Pro is €117.81, and Business is €474.81. A year is 10% off the net year and still includes VAT unless an EU VAT ID applies. An EU VAT ID uses reverse charge, so VAT is €0. The receipt shows the net amount, the VAT, and the total. Enterprise has no public price. Payment that fails can enter the grace period already shown in the workspace. The owner can cancel from the billing portal.
Your code and ours
You keep your repositories and findings content. DebtDetect keeps the software, the site, and the report layout. DebtDetect does not use your repository to train a model.
Stopping
DebtDetect may suspend a workspace that does not pay, that scans a repository without permission, or that tries to break the service. You may stop by cancelling in the billing portal and asking hello@debtdetect.org to close the workspace. The data-processing agreement says what is deleted. If these terms and that agreement disagree on a processor duty, the agreement wins for that duty.
